COVID-19 Update 7

As of Sunday May 16th, appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine will be available to anyone born in 2003 or earlier. This has implications for the entire CNC community, especially students.

Registration is necessary before you can book an appointment to be vaccinated. To register please visit getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca or call 1-833-838-2323. You can book an appointment after registering.

Please note:

  • The Government of British Columbia is encouraging everyone to get vaccinated, even if you do not have a Personal Health Number or other documentation.
  • The BC government has invited international students and other temporary residents to be vaccinated. International students will need to get a public health number to receive the vaccine. Please call 1-833-838-2323 for more.
  • Provincial health orders remain in effect, even after receiving your first dose of the vaccine. Please keep two meters of distance from others, wear a mask in indoor public places (including CNC public locations and classrooms), regularly clean your hands, keep travel to essential reasons only, and self-isolate and seek medical advice if you have COVID-19 symptoms.
