COVID-19 Update 3

Virtual Convocation June 25, 2020

The end of the winter term is completed, and I am sure you are happy to have your exams behind you. Some of you will be graduating this year, and while the COVID pandemic is causing us all to experience many of our daily routines differently, CNC would like to celebrate your accomplishments.

We will be hosting a Virtual Convocation Thursday, June 25 11:00 am on cnc.bc.ca. It will be for all CNC campus graduates and will include the normal celebratory speeches, student awards and the recognition of all  graduates.  Please watch your email for information on how to sign up for our Virtual Convocation 2020 ceremony in the coming weeks.

If you still wish to participate in an actual Convocation ceremony, you will be invited to join in our 2021 Convocation. Sign up for this will begin February 2021 and you will find more information on our website, closer to the date.

Graduates I wish you all the success and happiness, please be safe. If you are a returning student I wish you a safe summer and we look forward in you continuing your studies with us.

Shelley Carter-Rose
Vice President Student Affairs

Statistics Canada Survey

Statistics Canada is collecting data on the Impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on postsecondary students. You can provide your perspective on the current crisis by letting us know how your studies, financial situation and other aspects of your life have been affected by the pandemic.

Please take five minutes to participate and feel free to forward this email to other postsecondary students—the more people that participate, the better the data!
