CNC is hosting its first open house for high school students, their families and friends on Thursday, November 21st (3:00 - 7:00 PM), at the Prince George campus.
“We are excited to welcome Prince George high school students to campus to explore everything that CNC has to offer”, says
Daniel Ramcharran, Manager, Future Student Services. “The event will be both fun and informative with many opportunities to connect with staff & faculty and engage in interactive learning activities and demonstrations.”
In addition to learning about the more than 80 programs offered by CNC, students will get to tour the campus, learn about program pre-requisites and admission requirements for their program of choice, and explore CNC’s student services, such as tutoring, accessibility and financial aid supports.
Open house attendees will have their CNC application fees waived until December 31 and will be entered to win a $1,000 tuition credit. Additionally, students who
RSVP for the Fall Open House before November 18 will be entered to win $500 toward their tuition.
“Beginning a post-secondary education is a big step, not just for students but also for their families and supporters”, says
Shelley Carter-Rose, Vice President Student Affairs and Interim Vice President Academic. “Students who are interested in continuing their educational journey after high school will have the opportunity to explore CNC’s academic programs and also learn about the supports and resources available to help them transition to post-secondary education and provide ongoing support.”
