DESCRIPTION:
An introductory course to the physical geology with emphasis on the geologic processes that have shaped the Earth. Topics include minerals, rocks, plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanic activities, various geological processes and landforms, natural hazards, mineral and energy resources. Labs and field trip are used to enhance the learning in the lecture.
