CNC and Family Dental Care practices in Prince George are pleased to welcome four dentistry students from the University of British Columbia for the next three weeks to learn and provide patient care under a dentist’s supervision.

UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry offers the Summer Student Practitioner Program, pairing a dental practitioner with an incoming fourth-year dental student for one to seven weeks during the summer. The program allows the student to be part of a dental practice's day-to-day operation and management.

The students will work in clinics at CNC’s Prince George Campus dental building. They will care for dental patients under the supervision of experienced dentists. CNC’s dental assisting grads from the class of 2022 will help the UBC Dentistry students during their time at the college.

The students will spend another two weeks in Family Dental practices, working with and learning from area dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and patients.

CNC is a long-time provider of dental education via its dental hygiene and dental assisting programs, educating care providers across northern British Columbia. Family Dental operates four locations in Prince George.

We’re pleased to partner with the UBC Faculty of Dentistry to make this learning opportunity possible in Prince George.
