The past two days have involved updates from the Government of British Columbia on the return to campus this fall. Here is what we know right now:
Mask use starting August 25th
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has put in place a new mask mandate. CNC will require mask use indoor including classrooms. The renewed mask mandate will come into effect on Wednesday August 25th and is expected to be reviewed regularly.
Staff who require a medical accommodation should apply for an accommodation through Human Resources; students should contact Accessibility Services.
Other guidance
There has been a great deal of information provided by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training as well as the Provincial Health Officer with respect to the new BC Vaccine Card. We know there will be impacts on CNC operations. We are working to determine those impacts now.
