As CNC marks Mental Health Month, we ask students and staff to make use of the services they need to support their mental health.

The COVID-19 pandemic has placed extraordinary pressure on people. The on-going uncertainty, precautions, and changes in our lives can be very difficult to manage on top of day-to-day stresses that people face.

CNC staff and students have a range of services available to them.

Counselling services are available across our six campuses, and wellness coaching services are available at the Prince George campus. You can find more information about service availability at each campus at https://cnc.bc.ca/services/counselling

Northern Health: through its Mental Health and Substance Use Program, NH supports individuals and family members experiencing difficulties with mental health and or substance use. A service listing by community is also available, as are emergency and crisis services through area hospitals and health facilities. For CNC staff members, the employee and family assistance program is available Homewood Health. Counselling and resources are available to support you through difficult times.
