English Language Requirements
Students whose first language is not English need to submit an English Language proficiency assessment. The College of New Caledonia commonly accepts IELTS (Academic) or TOEFL (iBT) assessments, but will accept equivalent assessments such as PTE, CAEL, and CELPIP along with others.

To meet the English Language Proficiency Requirements, you need one of the following:

- Official test scores have a validity period of 2 years from the date the test was written.
- Some programs may identify a specific and/or higher English Language admission requirement.
- Only the most common ways of meeting the English proficiency requirement have been listed in the table above. There are other acceptable substitutions for International Students to meet the English proficiency requirement for admission to the College of New Caledonia.
