Five Days Until January 2025 Orientation
We are so excited to welcome new students to CNC on Monday, January 6th for Orientation at the Prince George campus. Orientation day is the perfect chance to make new friends, meet your instructors, and discover everything CNC has to offer.
All programs have individual program orientation schedules. Please find your program orientation information here.
Please note that all regular scheduled classes are cancelled on Monday, January 6th until 5:00pm unless you hear otherwise from your program area. If you are a returning student, we will see you after 5:00pm on January 6th, or on Tuesday, January 7th.

New Recreation Facility Access & Gym Bookings
All gymnasium booking requests must be submitted using the Gymnasium Booking Request Form found here.
How to Obtain & Activate an Access Key Fob
- Purchase a fob at the bookstore.
- Bring your fob and receipt to the Recreation office for activation.
- Sign the Recreation Waiver agreeing to facility rules.
- Once completed, your fob will be activated for the semester.
Please note fobs must be reactivated every semester and sharing or misusing fobs is prohibited and will result is access being revoked. For questions or assistance, contact the Recreation office located outside of the Gymnasium.

New Research Support for Students in the Aboriginal Resource Centre
We’re excited to announce that the librarians from the Learning Commons are now offering specialized research support in the Aboriginal Resource Centre for all Indigenous students.
Indigenous students can now access personalized support on Mondays & Tuesdays from 9:00am to 11:00am. Librarians are available to assist with:
- Navigating CNC library databases
- Finding academic resources for assignments
- Providing guidance on citations and referencing
If you are an Indigenous student, make sure to stop by the ARC to make the most of these resources!

Claim Your Tickets to Cheer on the Prince George Spruce Kings
Enjoy a night out to cheer on the Prince George Spruce Kings! CNC has been provided tickets by the Spruce Kings Junior A Hockey Club as part of a partnership. Upcoming home games:
- Friday, January 10 at 7:00pm
- Saturday, January 11 at 6:00pm
- Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00pm
Tickets will be awarded on a first come, first served basis and can be picked up from the Future Student Services Office (room 1-723) Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. Valid student ID must be shown, two tickets per person.
