Mark your Calendar: 6 Days Until May Orientation
We are just 6 days away from our May 2024 New Student Orientation. We are so excited to welcome you on Monday, May 6th. At the Prince George campus you can take a campus tour, attend the student services fair, enjoy a complementary pizza lunch, make a friendship bracelet, play some games, and meet your fellow students and faculty. Please make sure you let us know you are coming by registering here.
Upon arrival on Monday, May 6th you will check in and receive a wristband. You will need this wristband to gain access to the Orientation events and activities.
P.S Make sure to complete Online Orientation by Monday, May 20th to be entered to win a $500 tuition credit.

Pick up your Gown for Convocation
If you are attending a convocation ceremony, you will be able to pick up your gown package on Wednesday, May 29th from 8:30am – 6:30pm and Thursday, May 30th from 8:30am – 3:30pm in the Cafeteria at the Prince George Campus. In Quesnel you can pick up your gown on Wednesday, May 29th and Thursday, May 30th from 8:00am – 4:30pm in the Atrium.
A reminder that the deadline to register for your ceremony is on Friday, May 17th. Make sure to register so we save you a seat at convocation.

Heads Up! Multi-Factor Authentication for Moodle Coming Soon
Starting Friday, May 3rd Moodle will soon require you to sign in using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), also known as 2-Factor Authentication (2FA), this applies to ALL students.
MFA/2FA is an additional security measure that helps protect your CNC accounts. It adds an extra layer of security during the login process to ensure only authorized users can access your account.
For assistance, click on the link below or look out for our pop-up booth on the 2nd floor by the elevator near the library Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th from 8:00am – 4:00pm at the Prince George campus. We're here to help. Stay tuned for future updates as CNC Connect will be switching to Multi-Factor Authentication on Tuesday, May 21st.

CNC has Partnered with REES
CNC has partnered with REES (Respect, Educate, Empower Survivors) to provide online reporting for sexual violence on campus. REES is a simple, secure online platform for reporting campus sexual violence. REES allows a person who has experienced sexual misconduct, harassment, or assault, to create a record of the incident and choose from multiple online reporting options. Your record in encrypted and secularly stored in REES. Only you can access it until you choose if and when to share it.

Updated Service Hours for May
As we transition into the upcoming May semester, the Learning Commons has updated their hours. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm and will be closed on weekends and statutory holidays. The Learning Commons will return to regular extended hours when the fall semester kicks off again in September.
Additionally, the cafeteria is updating their hours for the May semester. The updated hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 1:30pm from Monday, April 29th to Friday, June 21. The grill will be closed, but a variety of grab and go food options will be available including coffee. The cafeteria team looks forward to opening for fall on Wednesday, September 4th after the seasonal break, beginning Monday, June 24th.
