The future skills grant aims to help British Columbians quickly get the skills they need to succeed in the jobs of today and the future. You could be eligible to receive up to $3,500 to help cover tuition fees for select programs and courses.

 Do I Qualify?

You may qualify if you:

  • Are a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or a Protected Person.
  • Are residing in British Columbia.
  • Are 19 years of age and older or have graduated from grade 12 (or equivalent).
  • Have not yet reached your $3,500 lifetime maximum grant allowance.

Available Fall 2026

  • Bookkeeping Certificate Program
  • Management Skills for Supervisors Series
  • Medical Terminology
  • Addictions Counselling Skills

Available Spring 2027

  • Dental Office Receptionist
  • Indigenous Cultural Competency in Healthcare
