Hi there! My name is Patricia and I am an Aboriginal Student Recruiter with the College of New Caledonia! I am a proud member of Takla Nation and I am Jilh Ts’e Yu (Frog Clan). I began my post-secondary education at CNC where I completed upgrading and my first two years of university studies courses. I then transferred to UNBC and graduated with a degree in First Nations Studies in 2010. I have had the privilege of working for my nation in a variety of capacities up until 2011. Since then, I have worked as an Aboriginal liaison in health, corrections & education.

Some of my passions are beading, working with hide, harvesting, and high impact sports. My great loves in life are my children, individual and community healing, and sober living. I strive to be a positive role model to help show that we live our best lives when we live in the moment. I also enjoy soaking up new knowledge and living through the ancestral knowledge that has been passed down to us.

I look forward to helping you get on a path to success. Ask me how I practice living the best of both worlds.

Sna’chailya!
