Our Facilities

Weight Room

The weight room offers free weights, machines, cardio equipment, and some cross fit equipment. Weight room/gymnasium access cards can be purchased at the bookstore for $8.95 plus tax and activated at the Recreation office.

One card gets you access to all areas of recreation (weight room, gymnasium, change rooms).

 Gymnasium

Scheduled activities throughout the week include badminton, cricket, basketball, soccer, volleyball and pickle ball. Gymnasium activities are available to all current students and staff. 

Students and staff require an access card to enter the gymnasium area. The cards can be purchased at the bookstore for $8.95 plus tax and then brought to the Recreation Office for activation.

Borrowing equipment 

Equipment sign-outs available with a valid student ID, no fees for this service. But must return undamaged. 

Booking the facilities 

All gymnasium booking requests must be submitted using the Gymnasium Booking Request Form.
Submit your request here. 

External users must fill out a CNC contract as well as provide insurance with $5,000,000 liability. 

Internal users (CNC students or staff) No insurance required, but all participants must have an active Gym fob.

Recreation Facility Access

Follow these steps to access the Recreation facilities:

  1. Purchase a fob at the bookstore.
  2. Bring your fob and purchase receipt to the Recreation office for activation.
  3. Sign the recreation waiver agreeing to facility rules:
  4. Once completed, your fob will be activated for the semester.

Important Rules:

  • Fobs must be activated each semester.
  • Sharing fobs or letting others enter using your fob is strictly prohibited.
  • Violations will result in immediate revocation of access without warning.

Lost & Found 

All lost property can be reported to CNC Security and if the items are later located, attempts will be made to return the property to the rightful owner. 

All property found by CNC Security, if unclaimed, shall be retained for a 30-day period.

Monday: Strength and Conditioning - 12:10pm to 12:50pm - Weight room

Tuesday: Yoga/Stretch/Mobility - 12:10pm -12:50pm - Bouldering room

Wednesday: Strength and Conditioning - 12:10pm to 12:50pm Weight room

Thursday: Yoga/Stretch/Mobility - 12:10pm to 12:50pm Bouldering room

Friday: Women's Only Strength and Conditioning - 12:10pm to 12:50pm Weight room                 

No registration necessary. Free to all CNC students and staff. Gym access fob required.
