Annette Stevens

Annette has over 15 years of experience in administrative support and office management, including working in a busy medical office. Before joining the Communication Services team in August 2006, she worked as a casual at CNC in Counselling, Financial Aid, the Financial department, the Centre for Student Success, Facilities, and Human Resources!

From 1994-2007, Annette ran a successful home-based fashion business, Panache Designs Boutique, giving her yet more insight into customer service, time management, and running an office.

Annette thoroughly enjoys being the fundraiser for CNC. It is most rewarding to be able to help students achieve their educational goals by way of scholarships and bursaries. Her greatest challenge is working with grieving families who wish to create memorial awards. However challenging it may be, it is also her greatest reward when she can help the families through a most difficult time and assist deserving students at the same time. It is especially heart-warming when the two meet and form a lasting bond.

Five things you probably didn't know about Annette

1) Is the only one in her immediate family who was born in Canada

2) Ran a home-based clothing boutique for 12 years

3) Is fluent in the German language

4) Plays the flute

5) Loves drum solos
