The Learning Hub is the home of the Plant the Seeds of Literacy and the English as a Second Language programs,
and the main office for the Nechako Lakes Regional Literacy Coordinator. The Learning Hub is a relaxed, friendly,
accessible, and non-threatening place where adults can begin to explore learning options.
The Learning Hub provides:
- Free, confidential one on one tutoring with trained tutors
- Life-skills-based literacy services
- Literacy resources for tutors, learners, agencies, organizations, and businesses
- Literacy awareness and advocacy
- Literacy networking locally, regionally, provincially and nationally
- Tutor training
- Family literacy events
- Regional literacy coordination
- Learner events
- A lending library
And promotes the use of plain and clear language

Community Adult Literacy Program
This program helps adults develop the literacy, math and life skills that
they need to realize their full potential at home in the workplace and in the community. Learner identified workshops, programs and special events are offered.
